New year resolutions are often easy to come up with but then become increasingly harder to maintain as the year goes on. I remember years ago making a 10/20 item-long list totally telling myself I would stick to them all – depsite not having done so any of the years previously. It then just got to a point where I stopped making them. But then, one of the numerous good things about the blogging/bookstagram world, I kept seeing people posting about their new years resolutions and people were really focusing on realistic, consciencious resolutions. This book has been sitting on my shelf for so long, I’m not even sure when I bought it to be honest – but it was released in April 2018 [eeekkkk]! However, it did inspire me to take part in the #tbrproject2020 [but more on that in a later post]. This book is told through the prospective of Jen, mother to Lana, her 15-year-old daughter who went missing for four days whilst the two of them were on holiday in the Peak District. Lana has no memory of what happened in those four days – or so she claims – and it drives Jen wild. She has to know what happened to her daughter. The book recieved 3/5 stars from me!
